Based on my experience, I can't speak highly enough of Dominic. He tutored our son for many months in the run-up to his 11+ exams about two and a half years ago. In many ways, Dominic was able to connect with our son even more effectively than we could relating to his studies, appearing energized and driven during the sessions. Dominic was a stellar role model, combining an impressive academic background with a positive, engaging personality. His encouragement and support were so profound that they truly transformed our son's outlook.

It was clear that Dominic cared deeply about our son's success; getting him into grammar school seemed to become a mission for him as it was for us. I genuinely believe that without Dominic's involvement, our son might well not have gained admission to the elite grammar school he now attends.

One of the many qualities I found particularly impressive - and rare - was Dominic's ability to modulate his voice and feedback as necessary and to adapt what worked with our son. For example, he would speak effusively and glowingly to offer a big "well done" when our son did well, which brought the sessions to life and helped keep him fully engaged. In addition to the core tutoring, Dominic provided so may invaluable practical tips about getting into the preferred grammar school that we didn't receive from anyone else, drawing from his own very impressive journey through elite educational institutions. For example, he gave very many practical examples of what, from his own personal experience, could be done to resonate with and increase the prospects of getting into elite schools.

He was consistently polite, punctual, and reliable. I would give him 100 out of 100 as a tutor; I simply couldn't be more impressed with the impact he had on our son's education.

My son worked with Dominic throughout a range of competitive entrance examinations and interview processes, and he was successful in every application.

He gained places at both Royal Russell and Trinity School through their 10+ admissions processes, including interviews. He also passed the 11+ and secured admission to Sutton Grammar School, as well as passing the first-stage entrance examination for 1729 Maths School.
